I had the pleasure of officiating at the wedding ceremony for Carri and Matt, just over a week ago. Another village hall on Gower for me!This was quite the story, with a broken leg leading to the start of this pair's adventures! Tales were told of their camping and campervan trips, the love and laughter they share, drinking old fashioneds in Sweden and an advent calendar proposal. We had two beautiful readings, a handfasting with ribbons proudly bound by nephews and nieces, and the most heartfelt of vows. I'm a great advocate for couples marrying in a place that is important to them. Last weekend was filled with two ceremonies, both using a village hall on Gower.
The first was at Port Eynon for the wedding of Eleanor and Stephen. The transformation of the hall from plain function room to beautiful ceremony space, by family and friends, was nothing short of amazing!This gorgeous couple threw the rule book out of the window, arriving with the guests and mingling with a glass of bubbly before the ceremony started, creating the most relaxed atmosphere.A ceremony telling their unique love story, including a ring warming and a handfasting.The love shared by this couple and the love from their close family and friends, filled the hall - it was a perfect celebration.Can't wait to see the photos from the fab @tiasandryphotography and hope to share them with you soon.#thegowercelebrant

It was great to receive the following feedback after sending on the first draft of a ceremony script to E and S a few weeks ago.We've now worked on the script together, fine-tuning it until it's absolutely perfect for this couple. I had the privilege of officiating at a handfasting ceremony a few weeks ago. One of the many advantages of a humanist ceremony is that it can take place anywhere that is important to a couple.For M & S, this was a motorcycle rally on the beautiful Gower peninsula.
